Only positive training methods are used at Dancing Paws classes.

Currently only Private Lessons are being offered.

Dancing Paws Beginner 1 Course

This course is for those who have no canine freestyle (dancing with dogs) experience; however graduate students are always welcome to repeat the course.

Class curriculum includes (but isn't limited to):

	Teaching your dog basic "dance" moves as well as crowd-pleaser moves for the big finale
	Developing spontaneous attention between you and your dog
	Learning to recognize music that compliments your dog
	You'll chose your own music (may be necessary to buy a CD of your choice)
	How to move to the music with your dog to create the picture of dancing together
	Choreographing a routine
	Performing before an audience

Dancing Paws Beginner 2 Course

This course is for graduates of the Beginner 1 course

The curriculum for this course will further develop the skills learned in Beginner 1. You'll be taking home a video of yourself and your canine partner moving to a song you choose and you will learn how to use this video as a tool for choosing music for future routines. We'll learn much more about choreographing a routine -- how to choose moves and transitions that fit the music and enhance the picture of dancing together -- and MORE!!

Watch for the start of an Intermediate course, which will require completion of the Beginner 2 course and the demonstrated ability to perform basic moves with verbal cues only. This course will introduce new, more complex moves. handler moves for different types of music-- and MORE!!

	Minimum age for dogs is six months. No maximum age limit.
	Dogs must be able to get along with other dogs and people
	Classes are limited to eight handler/dog couples. (Register early.)

	Only adult handlers can be accommodated.
	Tuition for the six-class courses is $85 plus tax for a total of $90.68
	No previous dancing experience is necessary
	Phone and e-mail support is included in all classes
	Dogs must have current vaccinations
